In an effort to appease her nagging, nosy parents, schoolteacher Sarah Goldman (Robyn Cohen) must create the perfect boyfriend -- even if it means substituting her real beau with an actor (Tony Daly) who can play the part to the hilt. Lainie Kazan and Seymour Cassel portray the elder Goldmans, who are instrumental in helping the whole charade get completely out of hand in this bright romantic comedy from first-time director James Sherman.
