Recently widowed Richard Avery (Ed Quinn) is facing a parent's worst nightmare: His young son's been kidnapped, snatched while the two were traveling in India. With a beeper providing his only lead and connection, the desperate dad swiftly launches a rescue effort. But with so little to go on, Avery must seek help from unlikely sources, including a drug lord (Harvey Keitel) and an alluring but dangerous woman named Julia (Joey Lauren Adams).
