In a pair of scintillating concerts, acclaimed conductor Claudio Abbado leads the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra to dazzling heights with these interpretations of Ludwig van Beethoven's most beloved works. Symphony no. 6 was recorded live at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2000 and features appearances by the Swedish Radio Choir and the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir; Symphony no. 3 was recorded at Rome's Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in 2001.
