This biting Showtime series airs network television's dirty laundry by revealing what really happens when the cameras aren't rolling. In the show's premiere season, station manager Rob Malone (Brian Kerwin) copes with low ratings and faces fatherhood in his 40s; Bea Arthur auditions for "The Ethel Merman Story"; and a stack of unpaid parking tickets sends development veep Lori Volpone (Charlotte Ross) to the slammer.
