Beggars in Ermine

Depressed after losing his legs in an accident, wealthy industrialist John Dawson (Lionel Atwill) befriends a group of local beggars, effectively streamlining their operation to bring in three times the revenue. The grateful tramps repay their benefactor by uncovering the truth about his "accident," revealing that his deceptive business manager (Jameson Thomas) arranged the mishap so that he could get his hands on Dawson's company.
