Simon Rattle steers the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra through Leonard Bernstein's rousing "Wonderful Town" score, cranking out crowd favorites such as "A Quiet Girl," "A Little Bit in Love" and "Ohio." Broadway vocalists Kim Criswell and Audra McDonald sing the roles of Midwestern sisters Ruth and Eileen Sherwood, who are fresh off the bus with dreams of making it big -- and falling in love -- in New York City.
