Richard Babson (Burt Reynolds) and Paula McCullen (Goldie Hawn) have lived and worked together as a seamless screenwriting team for five years. But trouble starts to brew after they finally tie the knot. What they hadn't counted on were all the family dynamics that crop up the minute they decide to "make it legal."
