After meeting a stranger (Daniel Duval) on a train and welcoming him into her life, a successful writer (Nathalie Baye) realizes she's become embroiled in an emotionally abusive affair. The trouble is, she's both frightened and fascinated by her new lover's controlling behavior. Director Jeanne Labrune also penned the screenplay to this French-language psychological thriller that plays with the concepts of attraction and repulsion.
