A wandering film director (John Malkovich) on the hunt for movie plots narrates this dreamlike work about complex relationships between men and women based on Michelangelo Antonioni's collection of short stories, "That Bowling Alley on the Tiber." Winner of the Venice Film Festival's FIPRESCI Prize, the film intertwines four puzzling tales of love and lust in France and Italy. Sophie Marceau, Jean Reno and Peter Weller co-star.
