Frannie Benedetto (Mary Stuart Masterson) and her young son, Robert, are successfully rebuilding their lives in a safe home with new names -- and far away from Frannie's abusive husband (who happens to be a police detective). But when Robert rings up his father one day on the telephone, the stage is set for this homicidal gumshoe to once again track down his family. Anthony LaPaglia and Sam Robards co-star. Paul Shapiro directs.
