In this intense docudrama based on the book by the same name by S. Hussain Zaidi, director Anurag Kashyap tracks the aftermath of a 1993 mass bombing in Bombay through the eyes of a journalist covering the story. As the tragedy unfolds, police investigators discover that the 12 bombings set off in the short span of just two hours were the work of Muslim terrorists who were acting out against the city's Hindu majority.
