Set in significant time periods from the Dark Ages through World War I, this hilarious British comedy recounts the adventures of Edmund Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson), the most despicable and brilliant rogue ever to pursue a coin or a pretty girl. Accompanied by his dim and smelly servant, Baldrick (Tony Robinson), Blackadder endeavors to get rich while serving an assortment of idiotic monarchs.
