Sixteen fly MCs strut their superior freestyle skills in a winner-take-all rap contest in New York City. First, we're privy to local contests held in New York, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta and Orlando. Then, it's on to the New York City smackdown, where an audience of industry reps and die-hard hip-hop fans judge the finalists. KRS-1, Tony Touch, Doug E. Fresh and other hip-hop pioneers make appearances in this tense competition.
