Bleak Future

Set in the postapocalyptic future, this sardonic sci-fi tale follows traveling salesman Slangman (Frank Kowal), who flogs 21st-century words and relics -- and unexpectedly comes into possession of a valuable golden disc. Realizing it's part of a legendary repository thought to hold the key to saving or destroying the world, Slangman teams with a mute Scottish warrior (Brad Rockhold) and a dense actress (Wendie Newcomb) to find the fabled oracle.
