Blondie was the most successful New Wave band of the late 1970s and early 1980s, and their videos were played frequently in the earliest days of MTV. A selection of those videos, spotlighting frontwoman Deborah Harry, are collected on Blondie: Video Hits: "Hanging On the Telephone," "Dreaming," "Atomic," "Heart of Glass," "The Tide is High," and "Rapture," often identified as the first rap video played on MTV.
