When a boat carrying valuable cargo mysteriously catches fire off the remote Korean island of Donghwa, inspector Won-kyu (Seung-won Cha) arrives to investigate, only to be confronted by an escalating series of grisly murders. As Won-kyu closes in on the culprit, he uncovers a chilling connection between the killings, the execution of a Catholic family many years before and his own past. Dae-seung Kim directs this thrilling 19th-century mystery.
