Sci-fi and horror auteur Don Dohler (The Alien Factor) is the subject of this documentary that reveals how the video market's insatiable appetite for "blood, boobs and beasts" ultimately turned off the director to the business. Chronicling Dohler's on-again, off-again relationship with Hollywood, the film provides both an adventure in genre filmmaking and an affectionate portrait of a man who inspired Robert Crumb, Art Spiegelman and others.
