After aiding in the escape of Princess Terute from an evil man known as the Lord, masseur Oguri is poisoned before he can flee to safety. Stuck between heaven and hell, Oguri is condemned to wander the land as a hungry ghost. But when he finds Terute again, their reunion is thwarted by the dastardly Lord, who stays hot on their trail, eager for revenge. Director Toshiaki Toyoda's medieval martial arts fantasy is based on a Japanese legend.
