When cop John Keller (Daniel Bernhardt) infiltrates death row to uncover the truth behind the execution of several inmates, he finds himself forced to fight in the ultimate kumite -- the ancient Japanese event in which the most skilled warriors from different martial arts genres compete. But this contest won't be fought for honor or integrity -- it's a spectacle of violence and death staged for pleasure by the sadistic warden.
