American newlyweds Sandy and Stephanie McVey (Brett Stimely and Anna Nicholas) get more adventure than they bargained for on their Indian honeymoon when Stephanie is kidnapped and held hostage by a group of villains. Apparently, someone has planted an ancient stolen ruby in her luggage, and now the kidnappers are demanding it as ransom. Now, Sandy and his Indian friend Syam Sabu (Rajnikanth) must find Stephanie and save her.
