Longtime lovers Frank (Ben Gazzara) and Maggie (Rita Moreno) hope to rekindle the romantic passion of their youth on a trip to the Catskill Mountains. According to local legend, their wishes will be granted if they're cast upon a blue moon -- but once their wishes are made, they get more than they ever bargained for.
