Blue Steel

In an early B-movie role, John Wayne plays an undercover federal marshal who's accused of a robbery in this Western written and directed by Robert Bradbury. After the elusive Polka Dot Bandit pilfers a hotel safe, Sheriff Jake (George "Gabby" Hayes) spies marshal John Carruthers (Wayne) hurrying away from the empty vault and assume he's the culprit. It's up to Carruthers to prove his innocence and help rid the town of a ruthless gang.
