Bolshe Vita
(1996)|
Set against the backdrop of the euphoric period following the 1989 fall of communism, this hip drama tells the story of a disparate group of young people who meet in a Budapest bar. Two Russian musicians (Yuri Fomichyov and Igor Csernyevics) are making their way to Belgrade for a performance; an engineer (Aleksei Serebryakov) has been reduced to selling knives; and two Westerners (Helen Baxendale and Caroline Loncq) are looking for a little fun.
