In this British coming-of-age drama, a quartet of recent high school grads is adrift in a world of unemployment, violence and substance abuse. Rebelling against everything and everyone, Phil (John Simm), Steven (Richard Hanson), Matt (Nathan Valente) and Robert (Marc Warren) are headed nowhere fast, trapped between small-time crime and big-time banality. That is, until a new face -- Phil's cousin Shona (Emer McCourt) -- expands their horizons.
