Shyam (Shammi Kapoor) is a crafty conman on the run from resolute cop Sunil (Dharmendra). To throw Sunil off his trail, Shyam hides out as an actor in a theater troupe. But Shyam finds himself in over his head when he falls in love with his striking leading lady, Sangeeta (Madhubala). Shyam will have to get the girl before he's carted off to jail in this screwball romantic comedy from Naresh Sehgal with music by Naresh Sehgal.
