Edith Breezerman (Kay Lenz) is light and free as a breeze. … No wonder her nickname is Breezy! For her, life is a fun adventure from one day to the next, and planning is only for those who can't let go of their useless conventions. But one day, she gets into serious trouble when she meets a man who tries to take advantage of her. The only one to offer an escape is an older man, Frank (William Holden), who gives her a reason to get rooted.
