This acclaimed miniseries set in the 1960s charts the lives of six Catholic nuns in Australia. As the Vatican reshapes the formalities of church policy, the older sisters follow their superiors' directions, while the younger nuns question tradition. The series -- which stars Brenda Fricker and Naomi Watts -- tackles such topics as birth control, abortion, divorce, premarital sex and interfaith marriages.
