Brother Orchid

After nearly escaping a hit by up-and-coming mob boss Jack Buck (Humphrey Bogart), orchid-loving gangster John Sarto (Edward G. Robinson) hides out in a monastery led by Brother Superior (Donald Crisp). There, Sarto lives a monk's life while planning his revenge. Two of the silver screen's greatest tough guys face off in his crime comedy, which also stars Ann Sothern as Sarto's ex-flame and Ralph Bellamy as a kindly rancher.
