The fifth film in the popular series, this tale of adventure finds hero Capt. Hugh "Bulldog" Drummond (John Howard) taking on jewel thieves. On the eve of their wedding, Drummond and long-suffering Phyllis (Louise Campbell) receive a dazzling diamond as a gift. Created in a lab, the gem attracts a host of evildoers who will do anything to stop future production, including murdering its inventor. John Barrymore co-stars as Col. Neilson.
