With her long-held secret about to emerge, winsome Carla Campbell (Gina Lollobrigida) is in a fix. It seems that during World War II, Carla slept with three U.S. soldiers (Phil Silvers, Peter Lawford and Telly Savalas), ended up pregnant, and has been collecting child support from all of them ever since. When the trio returns to Carla's Italian village for a reunion 20 years later, she begins to panic in director Melvin Frank's entertaining farce.
