Shy (Silas Howard), a small-town lesbian with big-time ideas, heads to the big city to immerse herself in a life of crime and along the way meets her match in Valentine (Harriet Dodge), a smart-mouthed adoptee who's searching for her birth mother. The two lonely grifters embark on a journey together through the skid-row streets of San Francisco and learn the true meaning of grace under pressure and the importance of friendship.
