When an Omaha, Neb., family piles into an RV and heads to the wilds of California for their dream vacation, nightmares soon ensue. One mishap after another befalls the out-of-their-element suburbanites, but they're determined to prevail -- and perhaps learn some lessons along the way in this National Lampoon-style comedy starring Dave Foley, Lea Thompson, Patricia Richardson and Vicki Lewis, and directed by Linda Voorhees.
