Call of the Wild

Based on the novel by Jack London, this adventure classic tells the story of a dog named Buck, who was stolen from California during the Gold Rush and taken to Alaska to be sold as a sled dog. John Thornton (Charlton Heston) buys Buck and puts him to work delivering mail on the harsh tundra. Buck suffers freezing temperatures and perilous conditions, but Thornton comes to his aid, and man and dog bond in an effort to survive the Alaskan wilderness.
