Calzonzin Inspector

Based on the comic strip The Super-Machos, director Alfonso Arau's film takes place in the town of San Garabato, Mexico. When a stranger arrives in town, everyone mistakes him for a federal inspector. The townsfolk confer instant "hero" status on the man because of the good things they feel sure he'll do for San Garabato -- but the government wants to get rid of him, offering him fat bribes as an incentive to scram.
