Peter Davison plays Margery Allingham's enigmatic 1930s sleuth Campion in Death of a Ghost, which has Campion mixing with art lovers at the elegant estate of his friend Belle Lafcadio. Campion thought he'd been invited to view a painting, but finds himself viewing a body instead … and a dead one, at that! When another corpse turns up, Campion goes on the clock, aided and abetted by his crusty manservant, Lugg (Brian Glover).
