Peter Davison plays Margery Allingham's enigmatic 1930s sleuth Campion, who's aided and abetted by Brian Glover, his slightly shady manservant. When an international ring of thieves and killers conspires to destroy a prominent British family, Campion and his Man Friday agree to help protect the family name and fortune. But before too long, they find themselves embroiled in a slew of curses, spells and murder.
