Twelve-year-old Koichi (Hoshi Ishida) flees the child welfare system and sets off to Tokyo, where he hopes to find his sister and mother, both members of a murderous religious cult. Along the way, Koichi teams up with Yuki (Mitsuki Tanimura), who's eager to escape her abusive father. Their journey soon becomes a harrowing struggle for survival in this tragic drama based on the deadly gas attacks on the Tokyo subway in 1995.
