It's nonstop action when several offbeat characters compete in a no-holds-barred cross-country race from Los Angeles to New York. The prize up for grabs is $100,000 -- and some of the determined drivers will do anything to collect the dough. Facing off against each other are veteran racer "Cannonball" Buckman and the villainous Cade Redman. David Carradine, Judy Canova, Robert Carradine, Sylvester Stallone and Veronica Hamel star.
