Hard life lessons are in store for spoiled Harvey Cheyne Jr. (Kenny Vadas) when he's picked up by a fishing ship after falling off the liner taking him to school. Unmoved by the wealthy orphan's tantrums, the schooner's Capt. Troop (Robert Urich) has little sympathy for the boy. Refusing Harvey's demands to be taken immediately to New York, Troop insists he pay for his passage by working for the three months before the ship docks.
