A married couple's life and livelihood are threatened by adultery and an international oil conglomerate in this passionate drama. Vicente (Jorge Perugorria) and Abigail (Cuca Escribano) run a small banana plantation in Costa Rica. As they try to hold their ground against the giant corporation moving into the area, Abigail's long-lost half sister (Maya Zapata) appears. Unable to resist her seductive charm, Vicente tumbles into an intense affair.
