A young policeman named Sergey works as a guard in a factory that employs women convicted of crimes against the state. After a brief encounter with one of the workers, the mesmerizing Carmen, Sergey's life undergoes a radical change as he shifts from guardian to criminal himself -- all for the sake of the bewitching woman he's met. Igor Petrenko and Olga Filippova star in this adaptation of Bizet's classic tale.
