This biopic traces the life and career of Primo Carnera, a one-time world heavyweight champion in both boxing and pro wrestling -- and the only man in sports history so far to achieve that distinction. From an impoverished childhood to a brief career as a circus strongman to worldwide athletic fame, Carnera is that rare figure whose legend matches his stature. Burt Young and F. Murray Abraham co-star as the men who made him and destroyed him.
