Chased by riders who want to capture them in exchange for a handsome reward, Billy the Kid (Buster Crabbe) and his sidekick, Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John), manage to escape, but are quickly embroiled in yet another dangerous adventure when they agree to take over for their wounded friend, Ed Dawson (Hansel Warner), who was set to go on an arduous cattle drive.
