Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky uses compassion and insight to help celebrities whose drug and alcohol abuse has devastated their lives. After the participants undergo detox at the Pasadena Recovery Center, the grueling work of recovery begins. Through intensive therapy sessions, Drew prompts the celebrities to uncover the reasons for their addictions. Participants include Gary Busey, Dennis Rodman, Heidi Fleiss and Mackenzie Phillips.
