In this charming, colorful comedy set in the 1920s, Beatriz and Javier must pretend they're engaged to placate their pushy parents, even though they're just friends. Intrigue abounds as Javier dallies with a singer and Beatriz pursues a painter. Eventually, the pair succeeds in ending their engagement, but will they be able to live happily ever after with their paramours, or will they realize they're really in love with each other?
