Charley and the Angel

In his last Disney feature, Fred MacMurray plays Charley Appleby, a small-town shopkeeper trying to keep his business and family afloat during the Depression. What Charley fails to see, though, is that what his family needs most is him. But after a string of near-fatal mishaps, Charley begins to see the light -- with help from a guardian angel (Harry Morgan) -- in this whimsical yarn also starring Cloris Leachman and Kurt Russell.
