After her twin sister dies, Jennifer Cassi (Gina Philips) returns to the family home to collect her inheritance, where she learns a disturbing fact about her sibling's death: It seems that her sister died from the same mysterious disease that also killed their parents. But recurring nightmares and haunting sounds from the attic lead Jennifer to believe that her grandmother (Faye Dunaway) may have played a role in the three deaths.
