When she learns that her closest friend and lover, Tom O'Donnell (Sean Patrick Flanery), is the chief suspect in the brutal slaying of a dear relative, ordinary citizen Jane Alexander (Ally Sheedy) will stop at nothing to track him down and discover the truth.
