Angry and abused high school student Tomoya Okazaki and his best friend, Nagisa, a girl struggling with serious health problems, continue to improve their lives by learning to lean on each other through thick and thin. Along the way, they assist other friends, including Kotomi, who's in need of help in coming to terms with the death of her parents, and Tomoyo, who could use some encouragement to realize her dream of becoming class president.
