Richard Burton fairly exuded gravitas in his many roles, as evidenced by this trio of classic films. In The Klansman, Burton battles racism (and a nasty hangover!) in the Deep South. In Divorce His, Divorce Hers, Burton teams with real-life wife Elizabeth Taylor in a tale of a marriage in tatters. And in Green Grow the Rushes (Burton's last movie before he "went Hollywood"), Burton stars as part of a British family involved in brandy smuggling.
